Online Therapy for Women Navigating Anxiety, Grief and Parenthood
Nobody told you trying to be a good mom would be filled with so much uncertainty, grief, and anxiety. You feel all alone with questions and feelings that others don't understand and can't answer.
My name is Cheryl Reeley LCSW-S, MS, PMH-C and I help women navigate the uncertain path to a happy family.
I have a Master’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My previous work experience includes hospital social work where I served patients in Maternal/Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Labor and Delivery, NICU and the Pediatric Unit. My specialties include anxiety, trauma, grief and loss.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2011 (currently in licensed in Texas, Illinois and Colorado).
My therapy approach is strongly based on the belief that in order for there to be a successful therapeutic outcome you and I must first build a strong rapport and sense of trust. I’d like you know a little about my journey to motherhood, so you know what you are getting when you reach out to me. I have 3 living children and 3 pregnancy losses over the course of 10 years. Becoming a parent is not as easy as it seems, especially when everyone around you is announcing their pregnancies. Supporting women who are struggling on this path to parenthood is at the core of my therapy because I know how hurtful it is to hear “better luck next time.”
I know it can feel like a big step to call a therapist, but I’ll make it easy. We’ll spend 15-minutes on the phone and I’ll let you know how or if I can help. If I am not the right person, I’ll do my best to get you to the right person.
Give me a call at 512-641-9528 for a free 15-minute consultation to find out more about anxiety counseling, grief counseling, and parenting.
